John Menzies plc is pleased to announce that Menzies Aviation (Menzies) has agreed terms to acquire Novia Sverige AB (Novia), a wholly owned subsidiary of Novia Scandinavia.

 

Novia, is a ground handling business operating at Stockholm and Gothenburg airports in Sweden. Menzies will pay EUR 8.75m cash for the business.  

The acquisition accelerates Menzies expansion in Scandinavia and is highly synergistic with its existing operations.

 

The acquisition is subject to local regulatory clearance which is expected to take 30 days.
