John Menzies plc is pleased to announce that Menzies Aviation has agreed terms to acquire Northport Norway AS and Finnhandling AB from Northport Oy, a wholly owned subsidiary of Finnair.

 

The businesses offer full passenger and ramp handling services at Stockholm and Oslo international airports. Menzies Aviation will handle all Finnair's flights and offer a full handling service to international airlines at both airports.

The combined businesses had reported gross assets of £3,983k as at 31 December 2006.

 

Craig Smyth, Managing Director, Menzies Aviation said:
