John Menzies plc, the time-critical logistics company, is pleased to announce that Menzies Distribution has agreed terms to acquire from Perio News Limited, Grays Newsagents (York) Limited (Grays), a wholesaler of newspapers in the York area.

 

The acquisition, which is subject to certain approvals, will see Grays business merged with Menzies Distribution's current operations in the area.

 

Grays was previously privately owned and its reported gross assets as at 30 September 2006 were £1.9m.
