John Menzies plc ("the Company") was notified yesterday of the following transaction which took place in the UK:

 

Mr Smyth exercised options under the executive share option scheme over 2,500 ordinary shares of 25p each in the Company on 19 February 2007 at an exercise price of 461p per share, which he is retaining.

 

Mr Smyth's beneficial shareholding in the Company following this transaction increased to 13,007 shares (0.02% of issued share capital).
