In accordance with the Companies Act 1985 and the Listing Rules of the Financial Services Authority, the Company makes the following announcement in relation to a disclosure of interest in its issued ordinary shares of 25p each.

 

The Company received notification today from Barclays PLC that on 4 September 2006, through the registered shareholders listed below, it had a notifiable interest in 2,026,346 ordinary shares of 25p each in the Company, which represented a 3.44% holding based on 58,964,537 ordinary shares in issue.
