In accordance with the Companies Act 1985 and the Listing Rules of the Financial Services Authority, the Company makes the following announcement in relation to a disclosure of interest in its issued ordinary shares of 25p each.

 

The Company received notification yesterday from Barclays PLC that on 19 August 2005, through the registered shareholders listed below, it had a notifiable interest in 2,177,126 ordinary shares of 25p each in the Company, which represented a 3.74% holding based on 58,155,581 ordinary shares in issue.
