Peter Smith, Chief Executive Officer of Menzies Aviation and a director of John Menzies, has informed the Board of his intention to retire in July, 2004.  The company has instructed Whitehead Mann to prepare a shortlist of suitable candidates to succeed him from internal and external sources.
