The transactions follow the divestment of GlobeGround by Lufthansa AG. The Board of John Menzies plc expects that both transactions will have a minimal impact on earnings in 2002.

Menzies Aviation Group Acquires Globeground's holding in Menzies World Cargo And Divests 49% Stake in GLOBEGROUND (UK) LIMITED
In addition, MAG has sold to GlobeGround its 49 per cent share of GlobeGround's UK passenger service operation, GlobeGround (UK) Limited, for £5.8 million.The transactions follow the divestment of GlobeGround by Lufthansa AG. The Board of John Menzies plc expects that both transactions will have a minimal impact on earnings in 2002.
