Martyn Smith, aged 43, is currently Group Financial Controller of Inchcape plc, the international distribution group, a position which he has held since 1994. Prior to that he was the Finance Director of Inchcape's Middle East operations and spent ten years at Rothmans International plc in a number of financial and commercial posts.
